First of all, let’s hope we have no further tropical storms over the weekend. We also hope that everyone’s dried off and that damage to businesses and homes alike has been minimal.
This weekend we’ve got the 3rd Annual Low Fell Fayre at Kell’s Lane park. Now that we’ve seen the worst of the weather (here’s hoping), we’ve no excuse not to get out. There’ll be stalls, bands and dancers, so get along! The Fayre is on Saturday between the hours of 12 and 4. Don’t forget to check our calendar in the side-bar for more information.
Of course, the Euros come to end on Sunday (Nooo!), so why not use that excuse to go along the pub and take in the Final? If you’re still hungry for more sport, don’t forget that Wimbledon is well under way right now, and will be followed by the Olympics!
